Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following academic requirements:

  • A recognised Master’s Degree in Sport Studies, Sport Science, Physical Education, or a related field; or
  • Any other Master’s qualification recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Malaysia; or
  • Any other qualification recognised by the University Senate as equivalent to the level of a Master’s Degree.

Applicants with a Master’s Degree in a non-related field may be considered subject to the approval of the University Senate and may be required to complete prerequisite courses.

Applicants must also have a good command of written and spoken English.

English Language Proficiency (Additional Requirement for International Students)

International applicants are required to meet one of the following English language requirements:

  • MUET Band 3.5; or
  • IELTS 5.0; or
  • An equivalent recognised English language qualification.
