Social Research & Consultancy

Graduates may apply advanced research capabilities in consultancy, social research, programme evaluation, community studies, and organisational advisory roles requiring evidence-based understanding of human and social behaviour.

Community & Organisational Development

The programme equips graduates to support community development, social intervention, organisational improvement, and initiatives addressing contemporary social challenges through research-informed strategies and professional practice.

Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following academic requirements:

  • A recognised Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Behavioural Sciences; or
  • Any other Master’s qualification recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Malaysia; or
  • Any other qualification deemed by the University Senate to be equivalent to a Master’s Degree.

English Language Proficiency (Additional Requirement for International Students)

International applicants are required to fulfil the English language competency requirements prescribed through a recognised English language qualification such as:

  • MUET; or
  • IELTS; or
  • TOEFL; or
  • An equivalent recognised English language qualification.

Exemptions may apply to applicants from countries where English is an official language, applicants whose previous qualification was conducted entirely in English, or applicants who obtained their qualification from a Malaysian higher education institution.
